As consumers become more mindful of what they consume, the wine industry has responded with a wave of marketing terms—“natural,” “clean,” “low-sugar,” “low-alcohol”—but many of these labels remain loosely defined and often misunderstood. The panel discussion, hosted by Women For WineSense, is designed to cut through the noise and provide clarity around these buzzwords.
I will be speaking from my perspective as a wine industry consultant, educator, and co-owner of Groundstar Vineyard, our 25-acre Biodynamic estate in Santa Barbara County. I’ll also share insights from my Mindful Wine™ framework for enjoying wine in alignment with wellness, sustainability, and conscious living.
I am honored to join a panel of impressive and inspiring women in wine whose work I deeply respect. Fellow panelists include Fahara Zamorano, Founder and Beverage Director of NiteThyme Wine, Fahara INC., and Ace of Cups; and Lydia Richards, Co-Founder of Hispanics in Wine & Spirits and Public Relations Manager at Jackson Family Wines. The conversation will be moderated by Rebecca Rose Phillips, Managing Partner and Wine Director at Vintage Wine + Eats and Buvette, whose leadership and industry insight will help guide a thoughtful and engaging discussion.

If you are interested in how wine and wellness intersect—or simply want to raise a glass together while deepening your understanding of what’s inside—I encourage you to attend.
I look forward to a thoughtful evening of conversation and connection!
Cheers,
